Stamp Price for 2024 Announced

Starting from January 1, 2024, the rate for a stamp for letters in the Netherlands will be €1.09, up from the current €1.01. 

Mail and Parcel Rates for 2024

From January 1, 2024, PostNL will increase the rates for sending letters within the Netherlands and from the Netherlands to other countries. The base rate for letters to foreign countries will be €1.75, up from €1.65.

The cost of sending a domestic parcel with online postage remains unchanged at €6.95. However, postage at PostNL points will be more expensive, increasing from €7.65 to €7.95. Sending parcels abroad will also become more expensive.

It's super bad how much it costs even now and next year is horrible. I'm using the new decemberzegels for all my cards now and I have made a lot! I remember when decemberzegels were just 27 cents, but now they're a huge 96 cents! I still revert to Gilders sometimes, and we are sticking down 2 gulden en een dubbeltje! For those who remember, that hurts 😂

Yes! That memory is still crystal clear for me. Back when I was employed at the post office, I sold such a vast number of stamps for Christmas that they even started appearing in my dreams! And I really liked those big books we had with the huge sheets of regular stamps in them. Ah, those were some remarkable times.
