On April 9, 2025, the United States Postal Service (USPS) filed notice to increase prices for mailing services. If approved, the changes will take effect on July 13, 2025.
Key changes:
The price of a First-Class Mail Forever stamp (for a 1-ounce letter) will increase from 73 cents to 78 cents.
Other price increases:
- Letters (1 ounce): From 73 cents to 78 cents
- Letters (metered, 1 ounce): From 69 cents to 74 cents
- Domestic postcards: From 56 cents to 62 cents
- International letters (1 ounce): From $1.65 to $1.70
Additional ounce price:
For letters over 1 ounce, the additional ounce cost will go from 28 cents to 29 cents.
