I'm so excited!

Happy New Year! I hope 2026 brings lots of snail mail joy and creative journaling moments
I wanted to check in and see if everyone is still on board for this Sisterhood of the Traveling Journal. Sign ups close on January 12. @Emmanuelle is still deciding, so we currently have two spots available.
If you know someone who would love to join a journal journey, feel free to send them our way. 💌📖

@2imagine4
I'm definitely still in. Excited to start!
I am also definitely in. I am really looking forward to this experience with all of you.

The event is almost closing. I unfortunately had to remove Hollmag from the group, since I tried reaching out several times without any response and we want to avoid journals getting stuck. Thanks for understanding.
You will receive an email once the Sisterhood of the Traveling Journal goes live. In your Swap Tracker you will find your details and the first send by date. Remember to update your progress there as you go.
There will also be a separate Round Robin forum attached to the event. You are welcome to post there of that is easier for you. It is also a private forum for our group and you can notify others by tagging with @name.
Happy creating. I cannot wait to see all your journals.

For those new to Snail Mail Friends, a short explanation on updating the swap tracker.
When you start your journal, set the status to 'Crafting' and update as you go along. When you have sent it, set the status to ' Mark as shipped'. The send before date for round one is February 10. The swap tracker also shows the progress of your sisters ^_^
If you have any questions let me know!

@Weebarbs42 There are no silly questions and I am glad you asked
We start by working in our own journal. In your swaptracker you can see the 'sister' you will be sending to in each round. For round 1 you work in your own journal. When you begin, mark the status as crafting, and update the status as you progress.
The send by date for the first round is February 10th. You may send your journal earlier if you want. For the rounds after that, do not send too early. Send it around the date shown in your swaptracker. That keeps the rhythm of the group balanced and prevents journals from bunching up or arriving too soon.

Our first Round:

When you send your journal, the Round Robin tracker checks if there is already a journal traveling to you. If not, it will show a message explaining that nothing is on the way yet.
Important: your own first round has to be sent before you can register other rounds.
Once a journal is on the way to you, the swaptracker for the second round will become available.
Every following round will include a receive option. If more than one journal is traveling to you, a dropdown will appear so you can select the correct journal ID.

For every participant you can see the status of their journal and your own of course. The example below is only to show how it works, it is not our actual journal.
In this example I sent my first round and it is currently traveling to the fourth member in the chain until it comes home. When it returns you can complete and close it.
